Arizona Sands Club

I held a Sands Club membership for a year hoping to find community and networking. What I found instead was a club that consistently prioritized its own convenience. Evening events were regularly scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Not exactly accessible if you, you know, work. When I raised this, I was told they "might start events later in the future." The club is frequently closed for activities and many of their scheduled events are, separately, an additional cost on top of membership dues. Some of that is understandable. A lot of it is not. Canceling my membership took over three months and more than five ignored attempts across email, phone, and text in my final month alone. It wasn't until I CC'd the GM with a full account and timeline of these instances that anyone responded. They handled three of the four things I requested in that final email (ending my membership, fixing my balance that was an error, and responding to me promptly) but conveniently skipped the refund for two months of dues that their own staff had promised me on my final phone call. Unprofessional, overpriced, and not worth your time or money. I will be vocally dissuading memberships in the community. The one brig
